PERSONAL BRAND IDENTITY
After various personal branding attempts over the past few years, I think I have finally nailed it. The aesthetic, and whole concept of this mark, defines my personal design style. Monograms first appeared on coins as early as 350BC, and have continually been used up until today, because they work. I have been developing my personal brand since 2nd year and only made slight tweaks aesthetically, the concept has stayed the same.
When it came to reflecting my brand in print, in this case business cards, the idea was to ‘make’ them. So the rubber stamp was made and the recycled blank cards were purchased, resulting in something physical to reflect my brand values. It has the effect where the recipient of the card will notice the texture in their hands, asking how they were printed, which is a good conversation starter.
